The More We Spend The Higher Rate of Return On Investment Needed [ September 2nd, 2010 ] | 84 views | Leave a Comment

I believe that those who are ‘thrify‘ will grow wealthy, and those who are ‘spendthrifts‘ will become poor. During my school time, i already have a game of adhering to my budget in which saving 50 cents out of my pocket money. As i known, the discipline of being able to control our spending and save consistently would make us success in the later stage.

big spend

For those who are from top management level who earn more than RM10k per month does not necessary that they can live wealthy. Let’s take an example, the managing director of a multinational corporation, who was earning RM120k per year. Given his hefty income, we expected him to have great substancial amount of money over the years, right? However, sometimes we may found that quite a great number of them whose total assets actually is less than RM500k while the net worth is less than RM200k. Plus, more than 70% of his net worth was from EPF savings.

Malaysia Car Price & Interest Rate

Previously, local car interest rate has risen up to 4.1% and above. For foreign cars, interest rate was around 3.5%-3.7%. But car prices will be adjusted down to counter the rate increase.

Will Malaysia car price drop? I think it’s a great time to buy car as many manufacturer have giving discount & great promotion to clear stock. The reason, economic crisis, consumer’s spending power become less, thus they need to reduce car price to attract people to buy.

Some people said that due to weakening economy as the banks is losing money they will increase the interest rates. Yet, I feel that world economy is bad, and many other countries have reduced their interest rates. I’m guessing that the Malaysian banks won’t increase the interest rates this year.

I just want to become a potential owner of a new car, i would suggest saving more cash that can increase your down payment, thus reducing the amount and duration of loan, hence reducing the interest that you have to pay.

Happy Chinese New Year

What would you do during Chinese New Year? Traditionally, Chinese families would visit everyone else’s family by going over to their houses and giving their blessings. I never got how everyone manages the logistics because if everyone is out for visiting others, who is at home? Actually, anyone who is married couples will give red pockets to single. So, I still can have this chance to receive “Ang Pau”.

Ang Pau

December to February is always a fun few months because of Christmas, my birthday and Chinese New Years. Celebration or not, personal finance is still key. While it’s easy to forget about responsible spending when we are happy and in “celebration mode”, remember that a little fun is always good but excessive spending is disastrous!

Allow Your Girl Friend For Breast Implants?

If your girlfriend wants breast implants, will you allow her to do? For me, I am not opposed to, though I personally very much like hotter girl with bigger boobs. If my girl friend really pretty and acceptable enough, then I will say “Honey, you look beautiful already, but if that is what you want, and will make you feel better then you should go ahead.” I know that is exactly the kind of suck up response women hate. For man rules response in my opinion is the best.

An even more important question is are you going to pay for them? If I were being the position as her “boyfriend”, I would not pay for them. Let her pay for them. So, I will give mental support for her choice 100% whatever she does, but it’s got to be her money that does it.

My Total Income At Age 30?

I am 26 years old now. Been on my job in web developer for 2 years. I just want to have a great financial future. I also am grateful and thankful for what I do have.

I personally think that there isn’t a rule on how much should or shouldn’t a 30 years old man earn. It’s up to the person if he wants to go further in his career path, if yes, then you can go way higher.

How much a guy can earn depends on the line of job he is doing currently. Different line of job has different earnings by the time they are 30 years old. The important thing is how you optimize the money that you earn and your financial knowledge too. For example, if he can earn more than 10k/month at age 30 but do not know how to manage his money then the value will diminish slowly overtime due to inflation.

Make Money Blog Tips

I’m a “late bloomer” when it comes to multiple blogs! Most of us have heard that the best way to make money blogging is by having multiple blogs. With multiple blogs, you can diversify your niches just as you invest mutual funds in the stock market. Putting all your eggs in one basket is never a good idea. People should start more than one blog to diversify, given they have the time to manage them.

multiple blogs

Besides that, a blog doesn’t cost much to run. The average web hosting for a blog is around MYR12.50/month and register a new domain name cost about MYR30/year. However, you could even start your blogs using a free hosted site like WordPress.com or Blogger.com but they provide free hosting only and you do not own your domain name and there will be limitation on ads usage.
