Public Bank Visa Electron Debit Card Annual Fees
I still remember i applied Public Bank Visa Electron debit card since the beginning of year 2007, at that time i used it to verify my personal paypal account. And, i found that it bring convenient for me to withdraw money from paypal to my Public Bank debit card account.

The way of using debit card is totally different from credit card, you will have more better financial management because you need to have enough money in the debit card before you can make any purchase.
My Advise For All Malaysian
Since our government implement the latest credit card scheme, which every principal credit card will be charged RM50 and supplementary card holder charged RM25, then now it’s great chance for you to own debit card. Besides that, the process of applying debit card is very easy and you no need to have income requirement.
Annual Fees of Public Bank Debit Card
Yeah!!! You will get annual fees waived for the first year once you get the card, and subsequent years will be based on total spend per year. I have create a table for you to see the total retail spend per annum and the annual fees waiver applicable for each level.

So, it’s better to plan when and how much to spend with PB debit card else you need to pay the annual fees.

I had just canceled my pb debit card because I seldom use it. The reason that I apply for it was to withdraw money from Paypal. But now, I can directly withdraw money from Paypal to my account and I do not want to pay additional annual fee. However, for those credit card holders who wants to save RM 50 for each principal card, I agree with David that you should consider to apply for Debit card.
