Should Malaysia Sports Betting be Legalised?

While the debate of gambling still going on… whether it is morally right or wrong… whether it will be legal for the government, so we must have to look at it from many different point.

Do you think gambling is a form of entertainment or merely a pastime? Some people have uncontrolled gambling habits and all the while they just try hard to win back their losses, which will undoubtedly lead to money runs out.

Consequences of Lost in Gambling

It is the adults, and many poor girlfriends of such victims ended up in the sex trade to help their boyfriends, fiancees, husbands to clear debts. Not only that, majority of them are of the Chinese origins, suffer the huge debts and become the victims of loan shark. In the other words, family fortunes have been lost or broken. Men who lose money turn violent or force their women into prostitution to feed their habit.

So, sports betting should not be legalized as it is promoting gambling to a new sector of society, not the current hardcore gamblers with illegal bookies. Understand that these operators only want you to gamble your money away. If you lose the first game, you will want to recover it in the next game, and games are available almost 24/7.

My Personal Views on Sports Betting

There are too much gambling in this country already! I believe productivity of the youths will fall once football betting is introduced. They are much more interested in making fast money than to concentrate on their jobs.

But anyway, sports betting are not that bad and it can be a profitable hobby in terms of money. Sports betting can help you making money but you must know how to make a proper balance between your passion and madness.

Personally, I’m against legallising. But if it is to support the going-to-be BANKRUPT government..why not then ;D

And a new rss subscriber is born. Interesting fact: Not seeing much of it in this Football World Cup but did you know that shirt swapping was once officially prohibited in 1986 because FIFA did not want players to bare their chests on the field.

Just tell me how many of them in Malaysia have strong self control especially the youngster? It’s not a product nor services. It’s a drug..One you touch it then you will addict (not all but majority)..Once the youngster being approach or their friends talk about the betting, then sure their will get into it … if there is legal outlet for betting, then the channel for betting is wider..coz legal outlet will cater to other form of consumer base..and this consumer base will be the new market for them or a new gambler .. Do we think about that, to legalised it will create a new gambling society in our country instead reducing the number of gambler ..

That upside quote is from the educated man. How about the man from the SPM or PMR qualification? The don’t mind that. They just want to gamble!
