As everybody known, a new year is just around the corner. Have you made a list of next year’s plan? How’re you going to achieve? For me, I have set my goals and objectives as follows:
Increase More Sales
The top priority that I plan to do for my business next year is to get myself more organized especially when dealing with business client’s requests. For example, offer responsive feedback to client when supporting the day-to-day task; provide more insights on web related product and services to the potential client and so on. If you can stay organized then it will let you focus on accomplishing your most important goals successfully.
Secondly, I will try to learn something new next year. Learning throughout the life cycle is a must if you want to stay ahead of your competitors. Therefore, I will aim to increase sales volume next year by improving sales strategies and techniques when approaching customers.
OSK Investment Challenge provided me the opportunity to invest in stock market with a virtual capital of RM100,000. During the investment period, I have learned how to invest, polish my trading skills and reap the returns within short period of time. Indeed, I have truly enjoyed this investment challenge which has contributed to my investment success.
Certificate of Participation
The Investment Challenge started from 4th – 28th October, which is about 18 trading days. Most importantly, I can make use of it to test my stock trading mechanism, tactics to analyze a stock potential, market forecast techniques and financial management skills. As a result, I have proven some positive return for almost 90% of the stock that purchased by just applying defensive trading technique.
I have been wondering what you can do with RM10,000 nowadays? Or if this RM10,000 is a windfall, what are you going to do?
For me, I have used my own savings to startup a business which is not easy as what others think. Before you start a business you must always have a definite goal. I have tried to keep on asking myself:
i. What is your plan, can it work?
ii. What type of business you want to venture into?
iii. Where, when, why, and how to start your business?
iv. Do you have any experience in this business?
v. How much return you want to generate from your business?
vi. Can your business operate for long term?
vii. How long would it take to earn back your startup capital?
Recently, I have started a web business and employ some full-time salesmen to work for it. However, I do not expect that it will generate fast return within short period. According to my current strategy, I will need 1-3 months to gain some market feedback. From there, I will know whether my business strategy is workable or not. Meanwhile, my partner and I will try to come out solutions to change into something that customers actually want, rather than our own interpretation of what they need.
