Do you know how much interest will you get if you keep your money in your bank savings account nowadays? Someone has asked me which bank savings account work best, MayBank or Public Bank? I told him that basically, all savings accounts are the same. The main purpose is for us to save money only. Without consuming lot of time, I told him that he should open a savings account at a bank, which is convenient for him to do transaction or finding the one that is near to his home. This is because there is slight difference in interest rates.

2 days ago, my friend Thian Thian come to visit me and from the conversation, i only know that she is working in CIMB bank now and provides me the latest information about the CIMB newly launched product - “Go for Gold” which is a nationwide deposit campaign. Will Malaysia Electricity Tariff Hike?

Many people also agree that prices always go up instead of going down. The value of money will go down. When every Malaysian is trying hard to cope with the fuel price hike, sugar price hike, and cigarette price hike, the news on new electricity tariff has caught everyone attention as well.

Our current electricity tariff is - the first 200 kW of usage, the rate is 0.218(rate) x 200(unit) but if your electricity usage is beyond the first 200 kW, the rate is 0.334. Let say if your electricity tariff for the month is 225 units, then the calculation will be like this:

200 kWh x 0.218 = RM43.60
25 kWh x 0.334 = RM8.35

Total = RM51.95

Try It Out New Cheaper Petrol RON95 !!!

I hope it is not too late to announce some good news that Malaysia new petrol RON95 will be fully introduced this 1st of September, and it will cost about RM1.75 per liter, which is 5 cent cheaper than RON97 (RM1.80 per liter recently) but also 5 cent more expensive than RON92 (RM1.70 per liter recently).

But there is another bad news; RON97 petrol price will be increased to RM2.00 per liter. Anyway, thanks to my fellow blogger Lai Ke Po for providing me such kind of useful information.

Do You Know What Is RON?

RON means research octane number and it refers to the ability of gasoline to auto burn inside the engine. Simply say, RON97 is harder to burn compared to RON95.

Higher octane number oil is basically designed for higher performance cars such as sport cars and racing cars. This is to avoid premature burning of oil inside the engine.

A lot of people said that RON92 petrol is the older oil and it is only suitable for older cars only. And, there are also some said that RON92 petrol would make the engine dirty. As comparison, RON92 petrol is less powerful than RON95 and RON97. What do you think?
