Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat With 5% Fixed Guarantee Return

A bit late for me to update this type of investment scheme, but this information could help you in future. As everybody known, global economy crisis had hit the bank fixed deposit interest rates dropped to 2.5% or below. However, it’s good news to public because Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat was launching new units during this 2nd quarter of the year.

How Much I Know About Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat?
Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat, which is the latest investment, offers a fixed guarantee return of 5% per year as promised by our government, and the profit made on monthly basis. Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat was commencing from 14th April 2009 till 13 May 2009 with a maturity of 3 years. If I did not miss out the chance, I will definitely go to withdraw my fixed deposit and move into this.
Minimum & Maximum Investment?
This savings bond was opened for everyone who aged 21 and above. Minimum investment is RM1,000 and maximum is RM50,000. If you have excess funds in fixed deposit, it will make more sense to transfer all your funds into Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat bonds to earn a higher interest.
Where Can You Invest New Malaysia Savings Bond?
Commercial banks, including Islamic banks, Bank Rakyat Malaysia Berhad, Bank Simpanan Nasional and Bank Pertanian Malaysia Berhad.
The allocation of Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat is based on a first-come first-served basis. Successful applicants will be get notified by their agent banks.
Do Not Miss Out The Second Chance
I have often diversified my investment portfolio, in insurance, unit trusts and fixed deposit which has more liquidity but low returns. Now, Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat is a low risk, average returns, not bad investment, thus should give yourself a try!!! I think the second series will be launched, I believe in the 3rd quarter. Keep on reading and waiting for my news!!!

If I’m not mistaken, there is another called Amanah Saham which has higher return rate than Sukuk (7%… OMG!) but the maximum deposit amount is lower, only 20k.
