CIMBClicks has a feature called eFixed Deposit which allows you to open a Fixed Deposit account online. Anybody here used it before? In this article, I will explain about the procedure to open fixed deposit account with CIMB bank by using the online banking facility.
Nowadays it’s not necessary to go bank to open a fixed deposit. If you have savings bank account and linked to your online banking account, it’s easy to create one at home.
Steps on Creating Online Fixed Deposit Account
I’ve attached a screenshot of my CIMBClicks account showing the steps on creating online FD account with CIMB.
I have tried to key in RM3,000 for 1-month tenure but it doesn’t work and it need at least RM5,000 for 1 month FD placement. For 2-months tenure of FD and above, it needs you at least RM1,000 only.
